Israel Adesanya has placed a hefty wager of $10,000, which is about N16 million, on Anthony Joshua to defeat Daniel Dubois.

Nigerian-born New Zealand mixed martial artist Israel Adesanya, a former two-time UFC Middleweight Champion, is making waves with a significant bet on the upcoming IBF World Heavyweight Title fight involving fellow Nigerian, Anthony Joshua.

Adesanya has placed a hefty wager of $10,000, which is about N16.45 million, on Anthony Joshua to defeat Daniel Dubois. This highly anticipated boxing match is scheduled for September 21st, 2024, at Wembley Stadium, where around 96,000 fans are expected to attend.

The confidence Adesanya has in Joshua comes from their shared Nigerian background and Yoruba heritage, as well as Joshua’s impressive performance record. Joshua is aiming to become a three-time world champion and has remained unbeaten in his last four fights since losing his unified title to Oleksandr Usyk.

Adesanya believes that Joshua will win between the 10th and 12th rounds. If his prediction is correct, he could potentially earn $50,000 from the bet.
