Rivers: How Wike’s Hometown Was Engulfed With Gunfire

There is ongoing chaos in Rumuepirikom, the hometown of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, as heavy gunfire has been reported in the area during the Rivers State local government elections.

Armed men, believed to be bandits, stormed the area, unleashing a volley of gunfire, effectively taking the community hostage. Reports indicate that one individual was injured by a bullet during the attack and has since been rushed to a medical facility for treatment.
