Former Senator and PDP chieftain, Dino Melaye, has taken to social media to mock the embattled acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum.

In a series of posts on his X handle (formerly Twitter), Melaye shared two images that depicted Damagum as a divisive figure within the party.

One of the images had the phrase “Enough is Enough, Damagum, Go & Join Your APC in Peace,” suggesting a call for Damagum to exit the PDP and join the rival All Progressives Congress (APC).

The second image read, “Bye Bye Damagum, The Harm You’ve Done is Enough,” further emphasizing dissatisfaction with Damagum’s leadership.

These posts come amid increasing internal turmoil within the PDP, as factions within the party continue to wrestle for control following the suspension of Damagum by a rival group. The images posted by Melaye reflect the growing sentiment that Damagum has not served the party well, with some leaders now openly calling for his removal or departure.
