Popular Actor Under Fire Over Birthday Tribute To Seyi Tinubu

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has found himself at the center of online controversy once again, this time over his public birthday tribute to Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In celebration of Seyi Tinubu’s birthday, Edochie took to Instagram, where he shared a post that quickly sparked reactions from netizens. In his message, the actor referred to Seyi as a “brother and friend” and the “First Son of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

His post read:

“A very happy birthday to my brother and friend, the First Son of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Leader of the youths @seyitinubu. Correct Guy. Wishing you many more beautiful years, brother. May God lead you always.”

However, the seemingly innocent birthday message did not sit well with many of his followers, as the comment section was soon flooded with criticism. Netizens expressed their displeasure, accusing Edochie of aligning with the political elite and questioning his portrayal of Seyi Tinubu as a leader of the youth.
