President Bola Tinubu, after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, appointed seven new ministers to his cabinet among whom was Bianca Ojukwu, widow of the deceased Biafran leader, Odumegwu Ojukwu.

The appointment of Bianca Ojukwu and other nominees followed President Tinubu’s decision to remove five ministers from their positions.

GWG.ng, reports that Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, who has been named the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. She had earlier served as an ambassador and then Along with her, six other individuals were also added to the cabinet.

Here are eight important facts about Bianca Ojukwu:

Bianca Odinakachukwu Olivia Odumegwu-Ojukwu was born on August 5, 1968.

She is the widow of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the former Biafran warlord.

She has three children with her late husband.

Bianca has won multiple international beauty titles, including Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Miss Africa, and Miss Intercontinental.

She has served as Nigeria’s ambassador to Ghana and was appointed as Ambassador to Spain in 2012.

Bianca is the sixth child of Christian Onoh, a former governor of Anambra State.

In 2011, President Goodluck Jonathan appointed her as Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Affairs.

She earned a master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy in 2016.
