Portable Survives Assassination Attempt (Video)

Nigerian music star Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, reportedly survived an assassination attempt on Wednesday in Ota, Ogun State.

The incident occurred when he encountered an armed man, and a video of the event quickly went viral. In the footage, Portable appeared visibly shaken as he exclaimed, “They want to kill me!”

The video also captured the dramatic moment when a half-naked man, believed to be the attacker, was arrested while holding a gun. Bystanders could be heard asking, “Who pulled the trigger?” as the situation became tense.

Efforts to contact the Ogun State Police Command for more information were unsuccessful, as spokesperson SP Odutola Omolola did not respond to calls or messages. The motive behind the attack has not yet been determined.

Following the frightening experience, Portable expressed relief that he escaped unharmed. Known for his controversial and outspoken personality, the artist’s close call has drawn significant attention.
