Nigerian Prophet Under Attack After 2025 Famine Prophecy
Prophet Tomi Arayomi, founder of RIG Nation, has stirred significant controversy with his recent prophecy about Nigeria’s future, warning of an impending famine and a humanitarian crisis.
In a tweet posted on November 16, 2024, Prophet Tomi Arayomi urged Nigerians to intensify their prayers in light of what he foresees for the nation in 2025.
Arayomi’s prophecy paints a grim picture, predicting a severe famine that will leave Nigerian farmers in despair. He further warned of a humanitarian disaster, which he referred to as an “amnesty emergency,” set to unfold within the next year. According to the prophet, 2025 will mark the beginning of a “new clock” for Nigeria, signaling a time of great need and reform.
“Pray for Nigeria, I see famine on its horizon. I see its farmers weeping. This will be a shaking for an awakening. Pray against an amnesty emergency and a humanitarian crisis. 2025 a new clock will start in Nigeria, one that will spark a cry for help and reform,” Arayomi wrote.
The prophecy has ignited heated debates across social media platforms. Supporters of the prophet are rallying behind him, urging the nation to heed his warning and pray fervently to prevent the foreseen calamities. However, many others have criticized the prophecy, with some accusing Arayomi of merely stating the obvious amid the country’s ongoing challenges.

akin_dominion: “They don’t believe in prophecy, neither believe in prayers in Nigeria anymore. They’re all economists now. “But, as for me and my house, we shall pray, and the Lord shall show us mercy.”
AjeboDanny: “What glasses did you wear when you were seeing this boss? Did you see it in coloured or black and white?”
Tinaabold: “You didn’t see anything. Pastors or religious pundits should stop this rubbish.bWe all know the trajectory the economy is tilting to. It’s the reality so don’t say you ‘see.”
The call for prayers and reform comes at a time when Nigeria is grappling with issues of economic instability, insecurity, and a worsening humanitarian situation, leading many to question the validity of the prophecy’s predictions.
