Actress Ivie Okujaiye Egboh took to social media to express her frustration after some government officials criticized her outfit during a visit to their office.

In her post, Ivie recounted the encounter, explaining that the women in the office confronted her about her clothing. She shared, “Why are you dressed like that? Don’t you know you are coming to a government office?” Ivie clarified that she was wearing a modest dress that nearly reached her ankles, paired with sneakers, and couldn’t understand why her outfit was considered inappropriate.

The officials also asked, “If you were meeting the President, would you dress like that?” Ivie responded by saying, “Yes, I dress like this often.” Despite Ivie Okujaiye’s explanation, the officials continued to express disapproval.

The situation took a shocking turn when, after rebuking her, the women asked her for money. Ivie expressed her surprise at this request, clearly taken aback by the entire experience.
