What Zenith Virtual Card Means For Customers
Move Follows Introduction Of Biometric Option At ATMs

Zenith Bank has introduced the Virtual ATM Card to its customers as a way of circumventing issues relating to physical cards.
The bank in a message to its customers said the Virtual Card is specifically designed for web transactions and can by used to shop online both domestically and internationally and can be used to pay for bills and subscriptions.
The introduction of the Virtual ATM follows the bank’s earlier introduction of the biometric option for customers in using its physical ATMs.
That option allows bank customers to use their fingerprints to make transactions in the bank’s ATM.
The combined move of the biometric option and the virtual card, according to industry sources would besides making life easier for its customers, also help protect customer who are indiscreet about their cards.
In the message to its customers, the bank requests them to visit zenithbank.com/virtualcard or dial *966*2273#
A Zenith Bank source, however, explained that the virtual card does not remove present restrictions on the use of the card especially as concerning international transactions.
