Rep Ereyitomi Facilitates FG’s N20k Cash Grant To Warri Constituents

130 persons are benefiting from the N20,000 Federal Government Special Cash Grant for Rural Women  Programme to women in Warri Federal Constituency it was disclosed on Thursday. The empowerment from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development was facilitated by the member representing Warri Federal Constituency, Rep. Thomas Ereyitomi a statement made available to  GreenWhiteGreen GWG disclosed.

In the statement issued by the lawmaker’s Senior Legislative Aide, Alex Gbiwen, it was disclosed that the empowerment was meant as a a one-off grant to some of the poorest and most vulnerable women in the rural and Semi-Urban areas of the three Local Government Area that make up Warri Federal Constituency.

The Local Government Areas are Warri South,  Warri North and Warri South-West Local Government Areas.

According to Gbiwen, “about 130 Women in Warri South, Warri North and Warri South-West LGAs have benefitted, stressing that the Warri National Assembly Member is committed to attracting  more direct social insurance, viable needs and development to Warri Federal constituency.”
He further observed that despite the economic challenges in the country occasioned by COVID-19 the 20, 000 Naira cash would go a long way in supporting homes and smaller businesses to spring up .

Beneficiaries poured encomiums on Ereyitomi who is also the deputy chairman of the House Committee on Niger Delta Affairs for his gestures and efforts.
