‘You’re Not Doing Your Wife A Favor When You Pay Bills’ – Mary Njoku

Actress Mary Njoku has asked African Men not to think they are doing their wives some favors if they pay bills as that’s part of their duty.

Mary Njoku in an open letter to African men especially schooled them saying they are not doing their wives, the mother of their children a favor when they pay bills as that is their end of the bargain they must fulfill.

According to Mary Njoku, marriage and parenting are partnerships and men are merely holding up to the end of their bargain if they pay bills and not that they are doing their wives some favor and them try to take advantage of the situation.

Adding that the greatest marriage is built on teamwork and when it comes to marriage, the love shouldn’t be blind hence paying off the bills in your home doesn’t mean you are doing your wife and kids some favor.

Mary Njoku then advised that one should marry a team player, someone who will support you in every aspect and hold up to the end of the bargain and not someone who will think he/she is doing you a favor by providing or doing something for you.
