Edo 2020: Appeal Court Dismisses ADP’s Suit Challenging Obaseki’s Victory
The Edo State Court of Appeal has dismissed a lawsuit challenging the election victory of Godwin Obaseki of Edo state in the 2020 governorship election held in the state.
The case which was filed by Action Democratic Party (ADP), sought Obaseki’s disqualification on grounds of alleged certificate forgery and dual party nomination.
However, the case was on Wednesday thrown out by the Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice M.A. Owoade, for lacking in merit.
