An Ado-Ekiti housewife was at the weekend weighing her options after her husband who is a notorious kidnapper confessed to masterminding the kidnap of her mother, and his mother-in-law.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Bunmi Ogunremi, 49, was arrested by the police in Ado-Ekiti for carrying out several high-profile kidnap incidents in the state including that of his own mother in-law.

Ogunremi aka Bunmi Bafon who hails from Ado-Ekiti was arrested by the police in Ekiti State alongside some others for being part of the kidnap gang. Also arrested with him were their food supplier and a vulcanizer who it was revealed acts as an informant for the kidnap gang.

In a video now making the rounds, Ogunremi confessed that his gang kidnapped a prominent petroleum dealer, Alhaji Sulaimon Akinbami at Ureje, Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital. He said that the gang also carried out many other kidnappings in Ekiti State and even carried out their operations beyond to Ondo State.

When pressed further by the police, Ogunremi also confessed to kidnapping his mother-in-law.

He said:

”The first job I ever did was that of Akinbami who owns a filling station. The second one is a woman. The third one was in Akure. The fourth one was my mother-in-law”
