Reactions As Ex-BBNaija Housemate, Uriel Goes On Desperate Marketing For Husband
Six weeks after she decried societal pressure to get married, BBNaija ex-housemate, Uriel Oputa has gone on what was at the weekend being described as aggressive husband marketing!
Uriel lamented that her strategy of being a good domestic hand through being a good cook and staying at home for the husband to come seemed not to be working. At the weekend she decided to change strategy to go outside on a desperate husband marketing strategy.
The beloved Uriel seemed to have enchanted many of her 1.6 million followers some of whom also decided to follow her in her new strategy.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the England born Uriel had in September lamented that no matter the achievement of a lady that society would not consider her successful until she marries.
She had said:
“It’s so sad that no matter what women achieve in this life it is not until you are married. I post a food video which is helping thousands of people and you comment go and marry,” she wrote.
“What if I don’t want to marry? Does that make me a witch? I don’t wake up every day and say Holy ghost that husband. My prayer is ‘Father Lord bring to me the man I need not want’ Bring to me a man who will not mess up my positive aura.”
“I’m very careful with who I allow into my life. Because they could be the beginning of your downfall. I find hope and solace in faith and a damn good body. Abeg.”
In her latest post on Saturday, she wrote:
I’ve been told I can’t find a husband sitting at home, cooking and working… Tonight we outsideeeee, follow who knows road sister.
if you see me outside in my @palazodewiniboutique outfit. I’m not UU Tonight. I need a Hot name??? for today
just watch my Stories ooo . please if your not Husband material stay home. I beg Una.
