25 Year Old Unemployed Woman Arraigned For Attempted Murder
– Admitted To N1 Million Bail
The Police in Lagos on Wednesday docked a 25 year old unemployed woman, Morenikeji Oguntoyinbo for allegedly stabbing a man, Emmanuel Ibeh in the neck with a broken bottle.
The offence was allegedly committed at about 4.10 p.m. on October 16, 2018 at Benson B/Stop in Ikorodu.
Oguntoyinbo was docked at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court before Chief Magistrate W. B. Balogun on a two count charge of attempted murder and grievous harm.
Sgt. Mary Ajiteru, the police prosecutor said that the accused stabbed Ibeh with the broken bottle on his neck in an attempt to cause him grievous harm. No reason was given for the attack which the accused, however, denied.
She was admitted on bail to the sum of N1 million.
