Gov. Abubakar Is Pharaoh, Bauchi Would Soon Be Delivered – Dogara

Speaker Yakubu Dogara of the House of Representatives has in a rare public outburst flayed Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State as akin to pharaoh of Egypt saying that deliverance is sure to come the way of the state.

Dogara’s assertions comes upon increasing discomfort for the All Progressives Congress, APC governor who has been repeatedly attacked over his poor records in the state.

Leading stakeholders in the state claim that the governor is not from the state and hence his deliberate efforts not to develop the state. Whispers here and there in Bauchi allege that the governor is of the Igbira ethnic stock in Kogi State and adopted the state after gaining employment in the old Bauchi State civil service in the early eighties.

Dogara likens Gov. Abubakar to Pharaoh

Speaking at a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP rally in Bauchi, Dogara also said it was time for the Northeast to hold the presidency of the country through Atiku Abubakar. He said Atiku would work for the unity of the country.

Noting the failures of the present governor of Bauchi State, the normally soft spoken Dogara who is from the state said:

“It is only in Bauchi that a Pharaoh-like regime is being practiced. If you are a photocopy of Pharaoh, know what  happened to the original Pharaoh.

“We are bringing someone (Sen Bala Mohammed) who will bring back the lost glory of our dear state. It’s unfortunate that over 1.3 million children  in Bauchi State are out of school today, which means if care is not taken, we may face another bigger security challange of our lives in the near future.

“Let us wake up and chase away hunger, poverty, insecurity and a Pharaoh-like government,” he charged
