Lagos PDP Denies Rumours Of Agbaje’s Withdrawal

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has enjoined voters in the state to ignore what it described as sponsored rumours that the PDP in Lagos state has dropped its governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje, for another candidate in another party. 

According to the PDP, the propaganda is one of the ploys orchestrated to deceive Lagosians into voting for a party it claimed had now become unfashionable.

The party also reiterated its commitment to free Lagos State from the shackles of oppression, mediocrity and exploitation through the candidature of Jimi Agbaje and the platform PDP. 

The PDP thus enjoined Lagosians to go out on Saturday to vote for Jimi Agbaje and all PDP candidates state wide. 

The Party went further to put on Notice the person and group behind the fake news that appropriate official reports shall be filed with the law enforcement agencies and the INEC in particular. 

Reports have been on social media of the adoption of a consensus candidate in which the PDP has been mentioned as being part of the so called arrangement.
