Chief Great Ogboru, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the Delta State governorship election is set to go to the tribunal to challenge the result of the Delta State election it was disclosed on Tuesday morning.

Chairman of the party in the state, Prophet Jones Erue told newsmen in Warri on Tuesday that the election was fraught with irregularities that made the election of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP untenable.

He said the party would seek the nullification of the election on the basis of ballot snatching, rigging and other malpractises that were done by PDP agents in connivance with ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

‘‘You are all eye witnesses to the fraud displayed by PDP where they connived with some  security agencies  and INEC Adhoc staff to hijack election ballot boxes  and thumb printed in their favour and declared one fraudulent result making PDP as winners,” he said.

Gwgng.com is also aware that the APC would be tendering as evidence in the tribunal claims that the results produced exceeded card reader accreditation during the election.
