Zamfara: Bill Prescribing Death For Kidnappers, Bandits Coming – Gov Matawale

Governor Bello Matawale of Zamfara State will on Thursday submit a bill prescribing death sentence for kidnappers, their informants and all those engaged in banditry.
Receiving the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Government House, Gusau on Tuesday, the governor said the law had become imperative towards checking the activities of the bandits who had made life inhospitable for the people of the state.

While advising those still engaged in criminality to surrender, the governor nevertheless to do his part in ensuring a conducive environment for the people of the state to live in. He pledged to provide infrastructure and necessary amenities including water to every part of the state.

Alhaji Kiruwa Mohammed who led the Miyetti Allah delegation said the delegation was in the state to congratulate the new governor on his assumption of office and to see how they could collaborate to make life better for all stakeholders in the state.
