2 Months After, Buhari’s ADC’s Father-in-Law Rescued
Alhaji Musa Umar, the district head of Daura in Katsina State kidnapped two months ago has been rescued, Channels Television reported on Tuesday morning.
Umar was rescued in Kano it was reported after spending two months in the captivity of the kidnappers.
The kidnap was particularly embarrassing for the Federal Government. He is the district head of President Muhammadu Buhari’s place of birth. He is also the father in law of Buhari’s ADC, Col. Mohammed Abubakar, putting to question the security guarantees that the government is able to provide to the ordinary members of the society.
Few details about the rescue of Alhaji Umar are available as the information of the development was made available from within the Presidential Villa.
