COZA Rape Scandal: Adeboye Speaks In Parables

Without mentioning names or the scandal that is eclipsing COZA founder, Biodun Fatoyinbo, one of Nigeria’s most respected preachers, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has advised young and upcoming Christian ministers on the way to survive in ministry.

Speaking in parables the way Jesus spoke to his disciples to the intent that only those willing to hear will receive it, he counselled the young to bring themselves under recognized authroities such as the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, two bodies he said he submits to. He also spoke against abandoning the ancient paths as laid by the fathers, and taking into cognition the words of Jesus, The Christ that everything hidden today will one day be made manifest.

Speaking at the monthly Holy Ghost service of the Redeemed Church of God, Pastor Adeboye said:

“I don’t want to talk because I am under authority. Redeemed Christian Church of God belongs to CAN and we belong to PFN and in CAN we have a president and in PFN we have a president.

Whatever they say that is what I have said and that is why I keep my mouth shut.

But I feel compelled to say somethings. To those of us who are young and upcoming ministers of God, and everything I am going to say is from the bible. So if you want to criticize what I want to say, you have to criticize the bible.

Number One.

There is nothing hid that shall not come to the open. Mark 4:22 it doesn’t matter how long, you think you have done something and it is covered, that it will never come to the open, then you can go and throw away your bible because the one who said so, because the one who said it is the Truth Himself, Jesus Christ.

“Everybody is asking why is it that it is you? When a woman accuses you of something, nobody is going to listen to you, nobody. They will listen to the woman, when you say where is witness, do they invite people to such things?

“When you say how can it be me? Everybody will say, how come it is you that they have mentioned of all the men.

“I am old fashioned, I was ordained in 1975 but I am still surviving. It is better to be old fashioned than to be modern and die. I have not said anything o, only the bible has been speaking.”
