Journalist and lawyer, Chude Jideonwo has alleged the existence of three other women with similar stories of sexual violation as alleged by celebrity photographer Busola Dakolo against COZA founder, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Jideonwo made the revelation in an interview on TVC’s Your View where he said that if the sexual impropriety allegations against Fatoyinbo are proved that he should be helped.

He spoke following assertions by investigative journalist, Kemi Olunoyo that Busola Dakolo was not raped.

Ms. Olunoyo had alleged in the same programme that Dakolo’s allegations against Fatoyinbo were riddled with lies noting notably that there was no date to the allegation.

Olunoyo also said that Jideonwo did not do his work well by not pressing on dates and what she claimed as gaps in the narration given by Mrs. Dakolo in the interview.

Jideonwo appearing later, however, claimed that a formal police report was lodged against Fatoyinbo even before the recording was made public.

“I have sat down with five survivors we have only released two. So when someone says have I done my due diligence but when I listen to five people who don’t know themselves and they establish the same pattern, the same case and they don’t even want to be published, only tell my story if it will help.”

The claim about the three other women follows the narratives by Mrs. Dakolo and another former COZA staff who spoke anonymously to Jideonwo.

Saying that Fatoyinbo may actually need help in the light of the allegations leveled against him, he said:

“If it is true about Biodun, I have compassion on hm because he needs to get help. And there are many wounded and broken men who are wielding power over women and this is the time for all of us to take responsibility.”
