Police Rescue All Five RCCG Pastors

All five clerics of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG kidnapped on Friday have now been rescued.

The Police  Pubic Relations Officer in the Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi  said “The remaining four victims have been rescued unhurt by men of Ogun state police command,” he said in a message to reporters.

The only woman in the group, Mrs. Ibelegbo Chidinma, had earlier been rescued unhurt.

The remaining four are now being bused to the Command headquarters in Abeokuta for debriefing.

There is no news of any arrest made.

The five pastors were abducted along the Shagamu-Benin highway on their way to the Redemption Camp for the ongoing annual convention of the church somewhere in Ogun State.
