Barely one month after he stepped down from the pulpit in the wake of multiple sexual allegations raised against him, the Global Senior Pastor of Commonwealth Zion Assembly, COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo  has returned to the pulpit for his pastoral duties.

Fatoyinbo who was accused by the celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo of  rape when she was a teenager, in Ilorin, pulled a large number of congregants who celebrated with wild jubilation as he approached the pulpit on Sunday, to preach.

It would be recalled that Pastor Fatoyinbo stepped down from the pulpit and handed over to his wife Modele Fatoyinbo following the controversy and protests that followed the rape allegations.

In his sermon delivered on Sunday titled: “Sudden victories” in the packed church auditorium, the COZA pastor said that the Holy Bible had envisioned that Christians would face persecution and trials but God in His mercy would make them victorious.

He drew Biblical references from Mark 4:35-37 and 1Timothy 6:12, while noting that unforeseen circumstances faced by Christians are the works of the devil but with faith, victory is certain.

“As a Christian, you must face opposition. If God, who is holy and faithful has enemies, you are sure going to have. In wrestling, any method can be used. When faced with challenging circumstances, pray, fast, decree, confess and prophesy God’s victory over your life.

“Most contrary situations around you are set up by the enemy to cripple your faith and keep you on a spot,” he said.
