Check-Point Rape: Randy Soldier In Court

It got worse on Wednesday for the randy soldier who allegedly raped a 300-level university student at a military check point along Ikare Akoko-Akungba Akoko road at the beginning of the month.

The soldier Lance Corporal Sunday Awoloa who was days ago dismissed from the army was on Wednesday morning arraigned at an Akure Magistrate court in Ondo State.

The delay in identifying and bringing him to justice had agitated human and women rights groups who put pressure on the army authorities which led to his surrender to the police for prosecution.
