Senator Shehu Sani, a founding member of the All Progressives Congress, APC has given three reasons why the party will collapse in 2023.

Sani used the platform of the party to go to the Senate where he served as representative of Kaduna Central between 2015 and 2019.

He subsequently fell out of the party and defected to the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP.

No. REASON
1 Party built around President Buhari
2 Party has no ideology
3 Party built around Resentment for PDP

Speaking on Tuesday when he received executive members of the PRP in his Kaduna residence, the civil rights activist and former lawmaker said the APC will collapse in 2023 essentially because it was built around President Muhammadu Buhari, resentment for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and that it lacked ideology.

Noting the need to rebuild the PRP, he sad that it was time for “men of honour and integrity to take over relevant positions and win elections in 2023 in order to free Nigerians from deception, fraud, and misrepresentation of which the ruling APC is notorious.”

According to him, “APC begins with President Buhari and it will end with Buhari.

“APC is not a party that is founded on ideology; it is a party that is founded on resentment against PDP and it is also a party that is founded under the banner of President Buhari. It is unfortunate for all the promises and pledges of cleaning, reforming and reconfiguring this country; the ruling APC had failed.”
