2023: Kollington Ayinla Mobilising Fuji Stars For Tinubu

Fuji mega star Alhaji Kollington Ayinla has enjoined all Fuji stars at home and abroad to rally behind the political aspiration of All Progressives Congress, APC leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking during an award night put together by the Performing Musicians’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Lagos State chapter in conjunction with APC chieftain, Alhaji Ibrahim Alao Megida, Ayinla said that it was the duty of all Yoruba who sing fuji to fall behind the aspiration of Tinubu on account of what he claimed as progressive ideas and his qualities.

One of the highlights of the award night was the defection of a prominent leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Sulaimon Oyenuga to the APC.

Oyenuga, a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (APC) speaking in the same vein with Ayinla charged the Yoruba remaining in the PDP to crossover if not, then because of the leadership qualities of Tinubu.

Noting that the PDP in Lagos was now dead, he said:

“With my exit from the PDP, I can assure you that the PDP is absolutely dead and dead for good. I, therefore, advised all Yoruba in that party to leave for the APC because the PDP, as a party, does not always consider the interest of Yoruba when it comes to matters of importance,” he said.
