Bayelsa Election: Court Urges INEC To Retain APC Candidate
Judicial reprieve came the way of All Progressives Congress, APC, as Appeal Court sitting in Port HarCourt on Friday ordered the Independent National Electoral Commssion, INEC, not to remove the APC and its governorship candidate, David Lyon, from the ballot.
The directive according to INEC would enable Lyon to participate in the Saturday governorship election in Bayelsa State.
The court order came following an ex parte motion filed by counsel for the Bayelsa State governorship candidate, David Lyon on November 14, 2019.
