NNPC To Support Chinese Firm Over Construction Of AKK Pipeline Project

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has promised to give necessary support to China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company Limited,CPPECL and Brantex Consortium on the construction work on Abuja-Kaduna- Kano, AKK, pipeline project.

 Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mele Kyari made the promise in a statement by National Oil Company’s Acting Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, . Samson Makoji

Kyari gave this indication when he received the President of CPPECL, Sun Quanjun and the head of the Brantex Consortium at the NNPC Towers in Abuja.

 have concluded plans for the commencement of work on the Abuja-Kaduna- Kano pipeline project popularly known as AKK project, a release by the, made this known in a statement.,

Kyari also stated that the AKK project was key to resolving the power deficit challenge of the country, and urged the contractors to deliver the project within time and within budget.
