(Video) Amaechi Confirms He Was Attacked In Spain

The Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi on Friday said he was in good health and unscathed after an attack on him by some Nigerians at the ongoing Climate Change Summit holding in Madrid, Spain.

Amaechi dismissed the attackers as misguided Nigerians.

Amaechi who confirmed the attack on him on his twitter handle @ChibuikeAmaechi said that his attackers were quickly rebuffed by the Spanish Police before they could do him any harm.

“Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain.

“They were quickly repelled by the Spanish police before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers.”

The identity of the attackers has yet to be unveiled.
