Oyo APC: Ajimobi Pleads For Forgiveness, Says He Has Forgiven All

Abiola Ajimobi has pleaded for forgiveness from all the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC he may have offended saying that he is also forgiving all those who offended him in the spirit of reconciliation in the New Year.

The former governor in his New Year message also canvassed support for President Muhammadu Buhari describing him as a great leader who is doing much for the people of the country.

While lauding the patience and support of members of the APC in the state in the message issued on his behalf by his spokesman, Bolaji Tunji, he called for unity towards building a strong and virile party in the state.

”Our reconciliation is still ongoing and positive steps have been made. We should eschew the bitterness of the past and forgive.”

Ajimobi reiterated his commitment and support for the party, noting that ” as humans, we are bound to offend one another.”

“Some people offended me and I offended some people too. But in the spirit of true reconciliation, we should forgive one another and  allow the past to end with 2019.

“Let us chart a new course of love and reconciliation for ourselves and the party in 2020.”

“All our actions and activities should be geared toward strengthening our party.”
