Ile Arugbo: Court Gives Sarakis, Kwara Govt Jan 15 Date

A High Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State has fixed January 15, 2020 for hearing on a suit, concerning the dispute over the parcel of land, Ile Arugbo, (Old People’s Home) in Ilorin which the state government took from the family of the late Dr. Olusola Saraki.
The presiding judge, Justice Abiodun Adebara restrained defendants in the case, anyone acting on their behalf from further demolishing or further destroying the alleged property of the claimant, following a motion ex-parte and the supporting affidavit dated and filed on January 2, 2020, and after listening to the claimant’s counsel, Mr. A.A. Ibrahim.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, House of Assembly, Attorney-General, Director-General, Kwara Bureau of Lands, and the Inspector-General of Police are defendants in the suit.
The suit was filed by Asa Investments Limited.
