Nigerian Identified In Ukrainian Airline Shot By Iran
A Nigerian, identified as Dauda Onoruoiza has been confirmed as having been on board the ill-fated Ukrainian Airline that was mistakenly shot down by Iran last week.
Onoruoiza, was a staff of Boeing and was on board the Boeing 737-800 as part of a monitoring programme to observe the mechanical noise in the plane. His programme was a three-month exercise.
A social media tread on the development read thus:
“He was on a three months training by Boeing in Ukraine and he was attached with the Boeing 737-800 to fly with and study the Mechanical noise and report back to the company because the said plane was scheduled for maintenance on Monday. 13th January 2020 in Ukraine.”
