Boko Haram Propaganda: Abaribe Demands Buhari’s Resignation

Minority leader of the Senate, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has called for the immediate resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari, in the wake of the country’s security woes.
Abaribe, while commenting on a motion on National Security, sponsored by the Senate leader, Yahaya Abdullahi on Wednesday accused the president of lying to Nigerians that Boko Haram has been defeated, even though the sect has been wreaking havoc in the North-East part of the country.
He also accused the All Progressive Congress, (APC), led government of thriving on propaganda and lies, saying that those who live by propaganda will die by propaganda.
In his words: “Those who live on propaganda shall die by propaganda, Defeat is staring us on the face.
“Nigerians did not elect the Chief of Staff, Nigerians did not elect heads of Security, Nigerians elected President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and in 2019.
“As it is, we are facing the head of the Nigerian government and this is President Buhari. He should resign with immediate effect.”
