Call For Buhari’s Resignation: Reactions Flood Social Media

Senator Enyinninya Abaribe’s call for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari from office and the counter by the presidency, to wit, that the senator should be in jail have blown over to social media with Nigerians voicing their different views on the issue.
Senator Abaribe, the Senate Minority Leader had in the course of a debate on the spate of insecurity in the country demanded the resignation of Buhari from office saying that he should be held to account for the spiraling violence.
The presidency replied that Buhari was working hard to repair the damage caused by Abaribe’s political party and that Abaribe should himself be in jail having stood surety for the wanted IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
