Edo Gets First Covid-19 Case As Total Rises To 35

The first case of the coronavirus pandemic touched down in Edo State on Monday as five new cases of the virus were reported. Two of the five cases were each reported in Lagos and Abuja.

The development brought the total number of cases in the country to 35 with two of the cases no longer active.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the development on its Twitter handle.

All 5 cases had a travel history to the UK/USA
