COVID-19: Ooni’s Herbal Solution Stirs Controversy

The herbal prescription against COVID-19 as proposed by the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has generated mixed reactions on the social media.
No cure as at date has been found for Coronavirus in the world, as none of the claims made has been accepted by the World Health Organization, WHO.
The monarch, in a video shared on his social media page, however, enumerated African herbs like onions, African pepper and neem tree among others as treatment for COVID-19.
In the video, the monarch enumerated the following African herbs as a proposed cure for Coronavirus:

The Ooni’s herbal medications for Coronavirus have become a subject of controversy, as many Twitter users have vented their thoughts about the herbal medications.
Some were not in agreement with the monarch stressing that it has not been verified by the WHO.
Others were, however, supportive of the monarch, arguing that it is high time Nigerians started having respect and value for their own development.
