Fears For Davido After Makinde’s Positive Test

Mixed reactions have begun to trail the news that the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde tested positive for COVID-19.

Makinde, on Monday, took to his Twitter account, to announce that he has received the test of COVID-19, which showed that he is positive.

The development has generated divergent reactions from many Nigerians, on the Microblogging platform, Twitter, who took to the platform to react to the development.

While a section of twitter users observed that the governor conducted a rally in the face of the crisis, others have also expressed concern on the fate of musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido who interacted with Makinde recently.

Davido’s fiancée has meanwhile tested positive for the virus.

Thousands of PDP supporters who had contact with him during the rally won't sleep well tonight & for the next few days.

Regardless of how many of them eventually test +ve, this was TOTALLY AVOIDABLE.
