Funke Akindele Pix As Street Sweeper Is Fake
A fake picture supposedly of Nollywood superstar, Funke Akindele supposedly carrying out community service as part of her recent sentence emerged on Thursday.
The picture tended to portray the Nollywood superstar geared in the attire of Lagos State street cleaners cleaning an unknown street. Many were taken in by the picture as the physique of the lady in the picture tended to resemble Ms. Akindele.
However, GreenWhiteGreen checks confirmed that the picture was not that of the Nollywood star.
The 42-year-old Ms. Akindele was sentenced for throwing a party with more than 20 persons in attendance as against the provisions of the Lagos State Social Distancing Law.
She and her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, JJC Skillz were fined N100,000 each and asked to perform two-week community service as punishment.
The service will see them enlightening Lagosians of the importance of social distancing.
