Kogi, C/River Safe As COVID-19 Cases Peak At 196
Nigeria’s number of daily COVID-19 cases reached a new height of 196 on Wednesday after a marginal increase of one case upon the preceding 195 cases recorded on Tuesday.
Yobe State also became the 34th state in the federation to be touched by the pandemic leaving only Kogi and Cross River States as the only states not to be scared by the pandemic in the country.
The bad news was also reflected in the mortalities with Wednesday recording the highest number of deaths since the advent of the pandemic after seven deaths were recorded by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
According to the NCDC Lagos State also recorded the highest number of infections with 87 cases, seven more than the preceding day.
