626 New Cases Bring COVID-19 Tally To 27,110

626 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Thursday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has announced.
The new cases were recorded in 19 states and the FCT with Lagos State returning to the fore with 193 cases of the pandemic.
Delta State which had the highest number of new cases on Wednesday with 166 cases had only 18 cases on Thursday.
The new cases brought the total number of cases recorded in the country to 27,110 with 10,801 recoveries and 616 deaths.
With the development, Nigeria is now known to have a total of 15,693 cases spread across the country.
The only state yet to officially report an incident of the pandemic remains Cross River State.
The NCDC in its daily report of the development tweeted thus:
