Scientists Set For Final Testing Of COVID-19 Vaccine

Researchers in the United States of America have disclosed that the COVID-19 Vaccine is set for final testing.

According to the researchers, the first vaccine tested in the country had worked to boost the immune system of the COVID-19 patients.

The South African Morning Post reported on Wednesday, citing a study by Dutch scientists that the blood collected from seriously ill COVID-19 patients on ventilators was found to be highly inflammatory and harmful to the body.

A data complied by Johns Hopkins University also revealed that South Africa has surpassed the United Kingdom in its number of confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The country is now the world’s eight – highest number of confirmed cases with 298, 292 and over 4,300 deaths.

Currently, more than 13.39 million people around the world have been diagnosed with COVID-19 , 7.37 million have recovered and more than 577,900 have died according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
