Nigerian on-air personality, Toke Makinwa has hit back as those who spread false stories against her, asking them to use the same energy to clarify and retract such stories.

Her assertion follows last week social media spread of the alleged repossession of her Banana Island apartment by Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), over alleged debts.

It was even further alleged by some online media that the apartment was gifted to her by oil mogul, Fadeyi Festus, a claim that had been rejected by Makinwa.

The OAP has now threatened to initiate legal action against the news platforms that published such reports against her if they fail to retract the reports.

Makinwa said she has become an easy target for the publications, demanding an halt to false stories against her.

The tweet has been greeted with support from her fans, who are asking her to overlook the noise of haters.
