Hope Returns To Lagos As COVID-19 Tally Falls

Nigeria recorded 354 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reported late on Thursday.

Again, Lagos slipped from the first position for the second time in August with 76 new cases down from the 137 reported on Wednesday.

The FCT with 78 new cases was top; ahead of the 16 others states that reported new cases on Thursday.

The new cases brought the total number of cases in the country to 45,244 with 32,430 cases discharged and 930 deaths. There were three deaths on Thursday down from the 17 deaths the day before.
