P-Square Reunion Dims As Peter Debunks Rumours

Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye, has quashed the insinuations that he has reunited with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, under their joint stage name, P-square.

P-square was the stage name twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye used in gaining popularity among music lovers at the turn of the decade. However, in 2016 the brothers parted ways after issues among their wives and business matters severed the once cordial family ties.

However, a video that appeared on the social media, on Monday , in which Peter,  presently known as Mr P, appeared to be telling fans that the group, P-square has resolved all their issues, with the view of working together, again led many to believe that the brothers were actually heading towards regrouping.

“The past few months have been a rollercoaster of emotions. We’ve resolved our issues. We seek your forgiveness. I will take full responsibility. I will take full responsibility for everything that has happened.

“And I promise you it is behind us now. We look forward to the future with excitement and renewed energy. Once again, I’m sorry. We’re back. Thank you,” Peter was quoted as saying in the video.

Reacting to the video, Peter said the video was recorded in 2015, saying he remains Mr P.

“Stop wasting your time… that’s an old video 2015??… Forever MrP. The Prodigal Album Loading…. #MrP, ” Peter wrote.

Before Peter’s response, some fans had jubilated the reunion of the twin brothers.
