COVID-19: Nigeria Records Highest Tally In August

Nigeria recorded 601 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday with Lagos generating her highest number of daily new case for the month of August on Saturday.

The new cases brought the total number of cases recorded in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic to 51,905 with 38,767 having recovered from the symptoms and 997 dead from the pandemic.

Lagos State got the highest number of pandemic cases with 404 new cases followed by FCT with 39 new cases and Oyo with 17 new cases.
