Presidency Gives Latest Report On Mamman Daura

Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on Saturday, asked Nigerians to disregard the report that Mamman Daura, the 80-year-old nephew of the president was flown to London on a medical emergency.
The presidential aide shared a video, in a tweet, showing Mamman Daura in a room making phone call, in agile condition.
He captioned the video thus: “No iota of truth in the earlier story that Mallam Mamman Daura was flown to London for an emergency medical attention, he is hale and hearty, Nigerians should disregard that story.”

Several media platforms had reported that Daura, the last man standing of the Buhari cabal, was taken to the UK, last Friday, after battling some symptoms of COVID-19.
However, a source in the Presidency told Leadership Newspaper that Daura is hale and hearty, saying he travelled to London for unfinished business purposes.
A development that has generated mixed reactions on the Nigerian social media space.
