‘Dirty’ Pics Of Islamic Actress Puts Nuhu Ribadu On The Spot

The civil rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has led outrage on social media after it emerged that Northern Nigeria’s leading actress, Rahama Sadau may have been invited to appear in a sharia court over allegations of stirring blasphemy.

Ms Sadau, arguably the most popular actress in Northern Nigeria is accused of stirring controversy after a picture of herself in a backless attire caused her Islamic faith to be blasphemed on social media.

Ms Sadau has since pulled down the racy pictures and apologized over the development.

Her planned trip to Dubai on Saturday was aborted after the police invited her for questioning in Kaduna.

In the latest developments it is alleged that she may have been scheduled to appear before a Sharia Court to defend herself.

However, the development has stirred strong reactions from Nigerians with leading civil rights activist, Hayiya Aisha Yesufu leading the onslaught.

Noting the incident involving the daughter of erstwhile chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Fatima who stirred controversy over her wedding picture a month ago, Yesufu said:

“Poverty is a bastard! @Rahma_sadau is being invited because she is child of nobody who dared to become somebody! Why didn’t they invite the daughters of @NuhuRibadu and @GovUmarGanduje? When did @PoliceNG become moral police?”

Writing in the same direction, a twitter user Nimrod@GhenhisKhan wrote: “This is very unislamic of @NuhuRibadu’s daughter. I will write to the same Mallam that wants to deliver judgement on @Rahma_sadau to also extend same gesture to @NuhuRibadu’s daughter. In fact she should be brought before the council to face trials in chains. “

“Another former Governor was caught doing a threesome with 2 “oloshos” in a hotel, its the same Governor that moved the motion for the adoption of Sharia Law in Northern States.”
