Wike, 8 PDP Govs Will Join APC – Yahaya Bello

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State says that more governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will soon join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Bello disclosed this on Thursday when he appeared on Channels Television, Politics Today while reacting to the defection of Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State from the PDP to the AP.

He said that the APC would welcome nine more governors from the PDP soon.

While responding to a question that if he knows any governor in PDP that will be joining the PDP, the Kogi governor stated: “I think probably, I can just give you an expo.”

“The expo I am going to give to you is that Governor Wike might be the last to join this party – the All Progressives Congress, others are lining up. They will soon be here.”

Governor Bello applauded the decision of Umahi to join the APC, saying that the defection was a testimony of the progress in the ruling party.
