BREAKING: Police React As APC Chairman Is Kidnapped

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State, Mr. Philip Shekwo has been kidnapped.

The State Police Commissioner, CP Bola Longe  confirmed the incident  in a telephone interview in Lafia.

According to him, unidentified gunmen in large numbers stormed the APC Chairman’s residence at Bukan Sidi area of Lafia around 10 :00 pm on Saturday and whisked him away to an unknown destination.

CP Longe stated that the police immediately deployed personnel to different forest locations in the state to ensure the  safe release of the APC chieftain, Mr  Shekwo unhurt.

“It is true that the APC Chairman was Kidnapped. He was kidnapped at his house around 10pm yesterday.

“We have done all the necessary things to make sure that that he is rescued and by the grace of God he will be rescued. We sent alot of police to ensure his release,” CP Longe said.
